My 2012 Ford Edge needs p/n 3757A bulbs for the rear turn signals. Why can't I seem to find an LED version of this bulb?

I've looked at several local stores, and online. O'Reilly shows the correct p/n to be 3157A, but that bulb will not fit the socket. There are tabs on the bulb base. The 3757A bulb's tabs are offset, and the 3157A bulb's tabs are straight across from each other, so it will not physically fit into the socket. Sylvania's website says the correct bulb is the 3757A. I can find plenty of incandescent bulbs, but no LED version for some reason.

 

This guy cut the tabs off.

Wanting to install LED turn sigs too on 2011 E350. If I change to LED do I need resistors so they blink normal?

 

Hard to say. Sometimes the newer flashers work with the LED's, sometimes not.
