Racing harness

Anyone ever put a racing harness in there truck (3-6point) I have a 1979 f150 single cab with a bench seat I would love to get a set of harnesses in it not really picky on Wichita point just looking for some tips...

An improper installed six-point can do more damage than good for your body. Each strap's mounting point is required to be within a certain distance of your physical stature and mounted correctly so it doesn't pull out of its attachment point.

For example, the shoulder straps need to be within six inches of the top of your shoulders... mounting them lower could result in compressing your spine in a hard wreck. The impact needs to be applied horizontally instead of being vectored forward and down.

Racing harnesses work well only if proper installed so do your homework based on the manufacturer's requirements.... you'll need a custom built cage to do it right.
