Body Accessories

Hi all. I just traded my 2004 F-350 for a 2012 F-350. My old one had a great set of rain guards for the doors and a bug shield for the nose. I bought them so long ago I have no clue who made them. In the market for new ones for my truck. A few google searches reveal there's now tons of manufacturers out there. Also I see the rain guards come in both stick on and in-channel (my old ones were in channel). Any recommendations from folks? Thanks to all that will reply!

I had the in-channel ones on my last truck and they interfered with the window so I got these stick on ones. They work great and are still stuck on there good after 2 years.

I use visors and bug shields from AVS. I've always used the stick on visors and the only one that has come loose was 11yrs old.

I pretty much stick to AVS for that stuff also. I'm on my second Aeroskin bug deflector and the stick on type vent visors. Never had any luck with the in channel models and "smart" windows, no matter how long I left the windows up after install.
I've had good luck buying those kind of items from RealTruck or AutoAnything.

I bought some stick on for my last truck, they blew off after 3 weeks. The tape was still on the truck when they blew off. Replaced with in channel and worked great for 5 years and one hung up while raising the window and broke the corner off. I also bought a set of in-channels for my wife's Escape and they are working great. I don't remember the brands. I haven't put any on my new, to me, truck because I was told to stop buying stuff for myself, Christmas is coming. I personally like the look of the in-channels better, and that's just my opinion.

AVS stick-ons, on both my F250 & the wife's Explorer. No issues whatsoever. It's all in the prep work.
