Also there is Palm Beach International Raceway And Daytona International Speedway along your route. You didn't specify any dates so I'll just point you to their calendars: Palm Beach International Raceway - Monthly Calendar and http://tinyurl.com/gvkpffh

We're back and had a great time! 2500 miles filled with great expriences.

Thanks for your tips! Following your advices we've visited the Udvar-hazy Center, took a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway, shopped at Dennis-Carpenter and met Don Garlits in Ocala.
I've also visited two salvage yards in NC for truck parts without any success.

Some photos:

Looks like you had a good time! Thanks for the pics, especially of that Meadow Green 54 at Carpenters. I've seen that in his catalog. Nice

Not Ford but if you are close to Bowling Green, KY then a stop at the Corvette plant and National Museum is a must. Museum visits do not require a reservation but the plant tours do...go online and reserve a date and time.

I was just down to KW 3 weekends back. I was stationed there in the Navy way back when, and head down 3-4 times a yr and stay on Trumbo or Truman Annex NS.

Not much for old trucks down that way, but love the view otherwise!
