Its time to intercool my 7.3. I was looking at getting the Banks kit just for ease of installation. Then I stumbled upon the XS-Power intercooler kit.1994-1997 FORD F250 F350 Power Stroke Diesel 7.3L Intercooler kit, Ford Intercooler Kits, XS Power Inc. Has anybody installed it? Or are there other easy options without me having to fab my own pipes?

 

I do like my Banks kit. Never a problem.

 

Also look at CX Racing Kit. They are comparable to Banks and much less coin. I installed mine a year ago and it's been good.

 

For $200 more I would MUCH rather go with a Banks system

 

I built mine for about 350 or 400 I think. But if money was not an issue .......

 

I was going to go this route as well, but lack of welding skills put a damper on that and I needed it done....so the $950 was spent for a kit and it has been worth it somewhat. I don't love the piping, but it works and keeps it cool.
