I stopped by my local Ford Dealership (Covert Ford in Austin, TX) this morning on my way back from getting my hair cut. They had quite a few 2017 Super Duties on the lot including 2 F-550 gassers. Anyway, I took a bunch of photos - enjoy!!

Seems like Texas is getting the first ones, I have seen none in our dealers or on our roads here yet.

 

Definitely more than our fair share here... Most were Lariats and a few XLTs. No KR or Platinums. All were CrewCab.

I have seen about 3 "in the wild" around town.

I bought 4 new ford vehicles in my day. the only time I used ford credit was when they offered 0%/60 months on top of all the rebates and discounts.

my current truck was financed by lightstream. applied on line, exchanged a few emails, approved in less than an hour. 5% / 84 months.. ford offered 7% / 72 months. at the time, my credit score was 790 and I had no debt aside from my mortgage. my credit union has 2% - 3% rates but a vehicle loan with my CU is like appling for a mortgage.....too much paperwork.


what I liked about the light stream loan was that the loan amount was put into my checking account with in 24 hrs. which was good because I was able to shop around pre-approved with only 1 hit on my credit report for the 1 loan.

I think it's a forum goof. I posted to a thread last week and I couldn't find the post. I used the forum tools and found my post appended to a thread I never opened. So, cut him some slack on this one.

This thread is the related thread shown for "What kind of finance you getting from Ford?" which sounds more relevant to what speakerfritz's reply was about.

Anyway, it was fun seeing 2017 **** again.
