Krown Rustproofing Spray Today..PICS

Had my truck sprayed today. Here is some pics for those not familiar with the product. I have been using this for at least six years and have been very happy with the results, even with our harsh salt applications in this region.

$139 for the big trucks. They hit most areas. I get a couple of cans of the product for touch up. Great stuff, it actually penetrates spot welds and displaces water. Still allows easy access to work on everything.

What location did you get it done at? I see there are 2 up in the Syracuse area.. And that's pretty much the closest ones to me...

I had it done just outside Canandiagua NY in Stanley NY. It should be done every year. If you need to call. 585 526 2011. Mention me and they should give you a discount.

I've got a guy about 15 miles from me that does Krown. I think I may have the bottom of mine sprayed when it comes. I know we had trucks at work done by a place that uses a similar spray on coating that drilled holes in the rockers and bottoms of the doors but being an aluminum body I'll make sure he doesn't do that to mine.

Only had 4 holes drilled in the doors. The rest of the truck had access already there. The tailgate had a hole in each side already.

Yes. Aluminum will react to salt and corrosives. It will not hurt the aluminum to be sprayed. The spray is also great on wires to keep moisture out. The battery terminals are also treated. At this point, I am thinking after all the years I have used this product, this is the way to go IMO.

This is my 2000 F 350 after all the winters with Krown spray..

Wow.. do you USE it during the winter? My 2010's frame is completely rust covered. And my cab corners are getting some rust under the paint. And I've only got 55000 miles on it.

It's a great product. Truck has been thru the winters and the paint and body have no issues. I have the truck for sale on this forum. Lots of pictures in the ad.
