Those things are pretty sweet! I wonder how they'd hold up to hail though

I wonder how much the replacement fabric is in terms of the total cost of the building.....

Its not just the hail, but the wind (tornados and straight line)...

We have a local Farm supply company that sells something similar and they've had a demo on their site for a good 10 years. I can't say for sure but it doesn't look to me like they've ever replaced the "tarp" on it. I was skeptical at first, but a lot of farmers in the area are starting to use them for equipment storage, feed lot storage, etc.

I can't vouch for them personally, but maybe they warrant a look, I don't know. I just thought of them when I thought of an "inflatable shed".

They do seem to be durable...I know a lot of the Massachusetts DOT districts use them for their salt storage...

That snow fall you guys had last year (or was it the year before) was ridiculous!

That could happen to any structure if the snow load exceeds the design snow load.

A lot of people have hoop buildings in my area and most people are really happy with them. I don't think hail would do much to the tarp because it can absorb the impact.

that is some big hail, I only seen hail big as my three fingers and it wrecked my roof, decimated my trees and I had a green lawn from all the leaves.

first time I had leaf duty in middle of summer

That's a really cool solution and seems easy to add on to after the fact... I'll have to look into it when i get around to building a shed.
