Need paint opinion...
My F500 is currently Eastwood's Jaded Green. The fenders that were on the truck when I got it were really beat up. Knowing that I would be getting new fenders to replace them in the future I decided to just paint them quickly and not worry too much about the finish. Now that I have NOS fenders I'm debating on a different approach.
Any votes for keeping the fenders Jaded Green?
Any votes for making them flat black for a modern kick?

My neighbor is restoring a '70 Mustang and went flat black on the whole car. He's been hounding me and while I too am a "shiny" guy I wanted to get other opinions. I definitely like the black fenders and frame/running boards on that F100!
I still have 3/4" of a can of Eastwood's Tunnel Ram Gray SSU that I used to paint the wheels, cowl vent and a few pieces inside. That actually may look slick too. If anything, the flat is out. Now I'll pin down the color. But the gloss black is slick!
The Cub is a '54. It's a great little tractor. It's amazing what it pushes even though it doesn't even have 10 horsies. I use it for light grading and snow removal. Plus it's great for pulling the neighborhood kids around in my modified manure spreader/wagon.

Everything that's "flat black" that looks good isn't flat black, it's Satin. Half way between gloss and black. Flat black just sounds cooler than satin black.
My vote would be to keep it the same shine as the green.
Since you have two sets, grab a couple cans of rustoleum satin black, paint them real quick, throw them on there and see how you like them. You'll have repaint them properly either way. Suppose you could do it the ones you're replacing, maybe just do one so you can compare both at the same time. I would also recommend matching the running boards black if you do the fenders.
Personally I think it looks great the way it is, but black fenders is a neat look too.

Here is a good website to get some idea of colors. Hot Rod Flatz Lots of choices and the Hot Rod Flatz paint sprays on very nicely with an HVLP gun, even for those of us that are not professional painters. They also have gloss paint per CBeav's preference.
Your question is a tough one with that color of dark green. Clark's truck looks great with the black fenders but maybe too much black on a big truck? Perhaps a lighter green just by a few shades for contrast?
