It really does, though the Chevy is small, regular cab half ton 2wd short bed. It's only about 2 inches wider than the Chevy, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't over a foot taller. Is also longer, hood is shorter but cab is extended and bed is longer, so I think it's a bit under 2 feet longer than the Silverado.
As awesome and nice as the new truck is, that Silverado has gotten me into and (mostly) out of a lot of ****, gonna miss that truck.
I hope the vinyl center seat is the same as the cloth one, in an F-150 I looked at they didn't have the storage areas and as such didn't have the cupholders. Seemed silly to waste all that space and options.
Check your hubs when your truck comes in, I was surprised mine were both locked, and this was before any kids had had a chance to screw with them. Hope it shows up soon!

Nice truck BTW, I like the XL trim best.

Hit the milestone of 000111... getting 15 MPG comfortably on a fairly flat stretch of highway nearby.
Been nothing but rain since I got it so not really able to take pictures yet....
A picture. I'll get better pictures of everything when it stops raining.
It's an excellent truck. I need to get used to it, still, but very happy. I'll do a proper write up after I get more hours in and some pictures.

Promised more pictures. Pictures here.

I have not resized these, they are JPGs processed from digital negatives from my DSLR, and there are 32 of them. I don't know total size, other than it's not more than 262Mb, but you may not want to load them over a pay-per-byte connection too many times.

The 2 pictures above I have questions on...
What are the two tubes in the foreground of the top one (left top of the bottom one)? One's capped, the other has a clamp but doesn't look capped, I haven't traced them but they look like vacuum lines to me. This has the 6r100, so I don't _think_ they're PTO related.
Any idea what the unpopulated connector in the bottom one's for?
In the above picture, anyone know what the line with the white connector on the end and the yellow sticker is?
Thanks for any answers on these two... I may post them separate later if I get nothing here.

Maybe I can save someone else a headache... The driver side rear seat is latched with that vinyl webbed strap, which needs to be pulled up to release it to let it down. That's not very easy, small hands help. It took me a good 20 minutes to figure out how to do it, and I like to think I'm good at those kinda things. The owner's manual doesn't even show that these can fold down, so it wasn't much help. After doing it a couple times to see if I could master it (no), I tied this rope I had through it and the head rest, now I can just pull on that rope to release it, which seems to work brilliantly.
This needs explaining.... That's my lucky log. Friend and I was back down a dirt road when my clutch pedal assembly failed sending my master cylinder through the firewall. With a storm approaching and no way to get the truck started or in gear, we managed to wedge this piece of wood I found between the brake booster, fuse block, brake master cylinder and the clutch master cylinder to keep the clutch master cyl. basically in place... was able to get it started and into 3rd which got us all the way to the nearest town (under 15 miles?) before it failed and we had to reinforce it, where it got us an additional 30 miles back to Rolla, MO.
****er was a pain to fix.
I've discovered hanging things from the backs of the seats is a GREAT way to keep things organized. Or, seems to be, time may prove me wrong.

There's a fair amount of space behind those rear seats, which is really nice. I have some boxes that are (in inches) 3.25×14×14, I can fit one on either side of that fire extinguisher behind the left rear seat comfortably, though there's not much room left after that. I'm going to be keeping my straps in boxes there until I get the flat bed and a couple boxes on it.
Let me know if there's anything else you guys wanna know or want pictures of... I have plans to get a precise height measurement off my garage door, but haven't gotten there yet.

If the speedometer and tach are accurate in the picture above (1900 RPM @ 70 MPH), it's a 3.73. A 4.30 would be spinning at 2160 RPMs at that speed.

Yeah, it also makes it so I can't climb into the back, as they have no handle either. Don't think a running board's optional this time. I'm thinking they had to do that to keep the floor flat.

Was it reflected on the DORA? How much extra was it? Do I just tell my salesman that it can be done, and he can work it out with Ford? I may have missed it, but did /can you post the selling price of that truck? I ordered the nearly the exact same thing except crew cab, and Blue. (But no cruise... Darn).
