mixing 285/70/17 and 285/75/17 on a 4x4

I know all tires are supposed to be the same size on a 4x4 but I can get a killer deal on 2 new 285/75/17 KM2's. I currently run 285/70/17 KM2's and am in need of 2 cause of not rotating them properly. Would it really make much difference when the only time I run it in 4wd is in mud and snow?

the are an inch different in diameter..Thats 3 %.... When in 2 x 4 wont make a difference.. When in 4 x 4 its not good....... dirt and snow would help, but you still will have a little binding.

Well, when your in 2WD, is your ABS functional? If it is, it may get mixed up when you touch the brakes.
