Which wheels would you go with?

Today I bought a set of used wheels and tires from a guy who took them off of a 2015 Lariat. The tires are way to small and I will change them down the road. They are Michelin LTX ENERGY tires and only have 750 miles on them. After I had them installed I kind of felt like I made a bad decision. My truck looks terrible with this setup. I will say that these Michelin tires do have a nice ride.

Anyway I wanted to get some opinions on which wheels to keep. Should I keep my old chrome clad wheel, or this Lariat wheel? Thanks.

BTW I'm gonna purchase the Toyo A/T 2 in either a 275/65/18 or maybe I will go bigger.

Myself I like the stock wheels. The other set looks like they should be on a car.

Your first pic looks like car-style wheels.

I think every thing looks better with the raised white letter. So I think the new set would look better with raised letter tires then the originals

I think these trucks look better with the wheels that were available in it's generation.

The raised white letters look better and a little more aggressive look in my opinion

I don't think they are getting a fair comparison. IMO the originals look better but that might be because of the tires. Try a little bit of Photo Shop or other picture editing and put the new wheels in the center of the bigger tires to see how they look.

^2nd this. Hard to really compare the two as is. Still, do whatever you want - it's your truck!

I see a lot of black wheels now. To each his/her own, but I'm not a fan. I want some shiny aluminum, or chrome etc.
That first picture with the wheel that looks like it came off of a car would look nice with the right tire on it. Something with some nice raised white letters on it.

It's hard finding tires with the raised white letters like the BFG AT KO. They are the best looking white letter tires IMO. I really like them, but I want to get a P rated tire.

Does anyone know if they still make the white paint pen for tires? Many years ago they use to sell a white paint pen, and it was used to touch up the white letters on tires.

I can't believe how much better my truck rides with these Michelins on it. I never really payed attention until now.

I think with a bigger tire with the Lariat wheels won't look bad. Even though they are not for that generation truck. My local tire shop is ordering me a couple of different tires and I will pick out what I like.

I appreciate everyone's help.

I'm sure that white marker is still around.
If you like the Michelin's, you should be able to get those in a raised white letter. And like you mentioned, that (P) Passenger tire is going to give you a way better ride than those (E) 10 ply tires.
