351c heads on ford 400
my period button doesnt work so ill be using commas insted (FYI)
I have a 78 F250 with the 400 in it, i know 351c heads match up perfectly to the block ( or so ive read) but do they match up to the intake perfectly aswell? i am looking at a pair of 70-74 351c 2v heads because they raise the CR up to around 9,5 1 and i dont have 2g to drop on edelbrock or CHI heads, also looking at 4v ones aswell but the CR is 11 1 and ive read thatll make the engine ping, will i need an adapter for the 70-74 351c 2v heads?

I have a set of Aussie 2v quench heads. I haven't put them on because even on my 351, the compression ratio would jump to almost 11:1. That's not good for a truck that runs on regular gas.
A 400 would have over 13.5:1 unless you used dished Pistons. You'd have to run race Gas all the time.
