Wiring up "fancy" bench seats
I couldn't handle the ragged look of the stock vinyl front bench seat in my '74 so I bought an "upgrade." I found a super-nice 40-20-40 bench out of a '96 F-150 for a GREAT price and retrofitted it in my old truck (let's hear it for cupholders!!!).
These new seats have automatic lumbar-support inflators which require power to run and was wondering if I needed to do anything besides just running the 12V and a Ground to the (integral) 2-wire wiring harness?
TIA

You should have 2 wiring connectors, possibly more if you have 6-way. One of those two is for the seat-belt alert, which obviously your '74 doesn't have. The other is for the lumbar. The both look identical, so you should make sure you have the right one.
I'm not sure where my '93's connects, because I haven't found a fuse, but a direct current 12V should work A-OK. I would make sure you have an inline fuse, just incase...
