Good evening everybody...

Quick question-

So I have 1200 miles now on my 16 F250 CC SB Lariat 4X4 6.2...tonight coming home from dinner I got on it a little bit and while the 6.2 sounded awesome the whole truck shook pretty bad between 4k - 4.5k rpms. I was in 2 wheel drive and conditions were clear and dry. Is it common for a super duty to shake and vibrate under heavy acceleration?

 

I have a 2014 F-350 and have been experiencing the same problem. I've been told by others it "Rear end Wrap". I've asked the dealer about this and they say they cant find any problems. The normal answer is that how the super duty rides......

 

I have a 13 f350 and mine does not shake, I wouldn't think that was normal.

 

Hmmm...interesting. the truck under normal driving conditions is smooth as can be...at any speed. I don't normally get on it like that...last night I was just seeing what the truck had. Regardless I wasn't happy with the shaking.

 

I have a 16 F250 diesel purchased 1/16 and have around 18K on it now. During the last month or so I have experienced three events that the engine was shaking and hesitating with power. The last one I was driving up a steady incline in 6th gear at 50 mph and was getting on it a bit more to keep the speed and it began to shake and loose power. I tried getting on it a bit more just to see what would happen and it got worse. So I backed off and a few seconds later gave it some power and it shifted down and powered up real nice like nothing ever happened.

So it seemed to lug down and not shift down properly.

I have done 2 oil changes so far. Going to have the air filter replaced with a factory OEM and try that to see what happens. It is not happening enough to take to the dealer, they would not be able to duplicate.
