OT about Me

EXTRAORDINARY DAY - I left Erie about 11:AM for a motorcycle charity ride - I stayed with the pack until Warren PA - Then I struck out on my lonesome - I went up into the Allegheny National Forrest first on narrow winding tow lane blacktop - I recognized a sign for an area that I haven't been to in 50 years - So I went - The road was a Forrest Service dirt road (I'm glad I was by myself so I didn't eat any dust) - This "road" went up and down several mountains - In on place going up a steep section my back wheels were breaking traction every so often - I could feel the cobwebs and the BS flowing out of my head - I made several stops in wide spots in the road and just sat there, one in a bunch, just listening to birds and the wind blowing thru the woods, no traffic, no tv or music - I made my way back to civilization about 70 miles south east of Erie and made my way home by a route that I have traveled a thousand time between my home in Erie and my Grand Parents hone in Curwensville, PA -
it was interesting see the old and crumbled and the new and cheap structures along the way - I ended up Back at the Firehall to a large group of people and a ton of food - To say the least it was a hugh BS session and everyone was smiling
I have been afraid to do such a thing from 2003 until now because of my PTSD and my Fibro - I shed some happy tears today and it was alright
To those of you down State be aware, I'm not promising any thing, but if you hear a motorcycle coming up your drive it just be me - I know who has the spare bedrooms down there

Wow! Curwensville is down by Clearfield!

I live in Lock Haven, but I don't have any spare bedrooms, but you could stop by for a visit.

Come on down to south Arkansas, if you can make down my driveway you can stay in my spare room as long as you like. Its only three miles through the river bottoms! If I can ever finish my Softail I'll even bring it out for a cruize.

Thanks folks - My head is stuffed with goodness - My body can still feel every bump and dip in the ride and every move that hurts my smile gets wider

I used to take therapy rides like that often when I had my bike. Loved it. Regret selling it, but it's just getting too crazy out there for me. Too many ignorant blind cagers.

Therapy tends to work best when you have multiple sessions. Look forward to hearing about the next one

Doesn't it start snowing up there soon? You need to get back out there
& explore some more for us. It didn't happen if you don't post pics!
