The deal: Good, OK, bad???

This is for an ORDERED vehicle, I have not signed the papers yet:

$76,420 - MSRP

$70,271 - Buy includes $1,195 shipping + $1298 "Regional Fees"?? (INCLUDES: LESS $1500 in incentives)

Does NOT include TT&L

This is about 8.1% OFF of MSRP.

YOU make the call.

For a new model just coming out that sounds like a fair price. JMHO. Main thing, does it make you happy. No matter what deal you accept once this thread is posted someone will always say they got a better deal and yours wasn't good enough. If you belong to Costco, I'd get a offer under their plan just to see where this offer sits. good luck.

started shopping too, MSRP right about there, X plan gets you around 8% off with rebates, agree with CJ, somebody will always get a better deal, but i'll check out Costco too, or we can wait six months until the rush is over?

From what I've seen Costco tends to be slightly better than any of the other services by a few bucks.

If the price you included INCLUDES the destination fee and made up regional fees then you're good. If you mean it's $70k + those two fees than there is room to improve. IMO it looks like they are offering invoice, so for a model that just came out, that's probably good. You could squeeze for a few bucks maybe, certainly doesn't hurt to ask. But if they have been getting lots of traffic on it, then they may stand firm and wait for someone else to pay a few bucks more.

What are regional fees? Just a way for them to make more money?

Most likely a way for them to advertise for a significant amount less, show a huge discount online, and then bring the numbers back up to reality. When you see folks talk about crazy good deals, normally this is what they didn't realize other people weren't paying...

I'm walking out the door when these show up on my deal....without question.

I've never had a dealer add bogus fees to a deal.

Yes but not sure what "regional fees are".

I can beat Costco with USAA I am a member of both and of the 2 USAA is better, also better than X plan by a little, prob based upon how many do you reach out to, in USAA case they have right at 12 Million folks that buy their car ins from them.

I am waiting a bit to get past all the early birds and let production gear up. Always a good chance on getting some juicy incentives as you head to the Christmas buying season, had some good ones in '15, I took delivery of my truck on 24 Dec and had a good incentive package

I am looking for the best deal without palying ping pong with dealers, I will go about 3 rounds and take the deal, but had a friend who would go the full 9 innings and work down to the penny. He did drive back and forth and do it eye to eye at least but one time he got it stuffed. He plays the game down to the penny's and I was with him to drive his car back home when he bought. So he strolls into the dealer and the sales guy says the GM wants to talk to you. So we go over to the office and the GM just looks and sez where do you live? He tells him and the GM reaches into his pants pocket and pulls out his wallet, and says: Here is $10 bucks, that will pay for your gas to go back to the other dealer and you to get home, I don't your business...he turns and walks away.

There's more"

We drive back to the other dealer and we go in, the sales guy sez the GM want to talk with him. We go in and the GM says what kind of deal did you get. My buddy tries to pull the you got to beat. He stands up and shakes his hand and says well guess the other dealer get it I am as low as I will go. Oh and when you go back over there, stop in and see the GM, he is my brother in law, saw hello....IF you could have seen the look on my buddys face.

He eats crow and says well it to far to drive over I will take your deal...

That is about 7%, if you push a bit they will 8% off MSRP WITH the $1000 incentive included.

Here is a offer I just got a few min ago:

MSRP is coming up at $ 76,670 and I can sell it to you for $72,716 + fees. This is only about a 6.25% discount for a ordered car, not so good. Do not know what "fees" are a honest outfit they will TT&L which is fine, but they are gone for the day so i will have to talk with them on Monday.
