1948 f6 rear end parts

Hello ford gurus
I am trying to fix my two speed shift
My thoughts are to replace cable vacuum valve with an electric switch valve
To the vacuum actuator ....
Anyone ever done this!

Any eaton 2-speed electric shift components up to 60's- (maybe early 70's) of same size should work I believe. Motor will be 12v

Big D, I see this is your first post. Welcome to FTE the best Ford truck forum on the World Wide Web! Your icon shows a big truck. It looks like a 48-50 but I can't tell which.

Why don't you start a new thread and introduce yourself with lots of pictures of your truck and it's history. Thanks.
