2014 F150 losing RPM

I hope I am posting this in the correct spot. I have a 2014 F150 ecoboost with a 3 inch lift and 33 inch tires. It seems that in every gear minus 6th that when I shift it shifts to normal RPMs then the truck sort of bogs down, losing 300 or so RPM, then keeps going like nothing ever happened. There are 58,XXX miles on the vehicle. I have taken it to Ford multiple times, now they are saying I probably need an aftermarket tuner to take care of the issue because of the bigger tires.

Has anyone had this same issue?

Thank you,

With everything going on in these vehicles- all of the data on everything - affects everything. meaning. incorrect data fed into the TCM. tranny control module. might think it can lock the torque converter when in fact it can not, or shouldnt based on load.

i had my 2013 with right at 33's on it before it was tuned and it didnt shift correctly. i had 3.73 gears. and right at 33in goodyear wrangler duratracs.

having those number off can also confuse antilock brakes, traction control, and roll stability control systems.

i would tune for tire size and go from there.
also if you have a 3.31 or 3.55 rear- that can also affect how well it handles things. with the bigger tires.

ford can program for tire size - however only for tire sizes that were offered on a certain vehicle.

Ditto.
ford will only tune for tire sizes they support.
You can adjust your TCM by using an SCTflash that I purchased with a custom tune from 5Star Tuming. In that program, I could adjust the parameters for tire size, etc
It is amazing the difference a slight change in tires/wheels, etc can make on your ECM/TCM.
