Rear susp: Front shackle flip.

If I flip the front spring shackles do I have to worry about the change in pinion angle? The only weight I carry is empty beer cans.

Before you do anything measure the rear pinion angle degree. That way once you do the shackle flip you can remeasure it and can correct it with some shims.

Instead of using shims, why not just move the {rear} shackles up?? Just as simple as moving the front up!!!

How do you flip the front shackles on the rear? I thought the shackles were in the back?...

You can call them what you want: perches, brackets, hangers, mounts etc etc.
I will call them what I want.

I was just trying to figure out what you were talking about so I could add my 2 cents for you.

img Borrowed from net...thanks to author!!

Eric, this is what the front hangar looks like after flipping, also note if your doing this to lower the rear end, that 2-3" here will only net about a half to 1" at the axle...
Good luck

So, what I did: I had the tire shop install some skinny 235's on the front, now it looks level and I can steer it to park! Great suggestions all, thanks.
