Ford Script Flat Bed Frame

I have a Ford script flatbed frame that I was going to restore for my F2 but found an express bed and used that instead. The perimeter of the frame is not too bad but all the angle iron needs replacement. If anyone is interested in it please PM me this week. It has been sitting around for a year at my place and it needs to go. I'll let it go for scrap price to anyone who wants it they just need to come and get it. If there is no interest, I will cut it up and dispose of it.

Someone needs to save this bed from being recycled into a KIA!

Harrier did you ever resolve your bed issue? Would this work on your 54?

Doug, your truck looks good! Can you show us more pictures?

I hope someone buys that flatbed.

Abe, here are a few pictures showing the finished express bed that replaced the planned flat bed restoration.

Here is the truck with my security system!

That is nice, doug. And I can see why you went with the express box. It is in great shape.

I have my son starting on building me one. I think he has a classmate that will be fixing up the one I purchased.
This is a nice bed and I hope someone gets it.

Nice trucks guys!
jwforsefolk, I love your side boards. I have saved that picture for future reference.

No one has given me a "I'll take it" yet so if there is any interest please let me know. I may be able to help with transportation depending where you are. Perhaps a meeting half way? I would just hate to scrap it. It was hard enough scrapping my '50 F2 parts truck.

Well, it looks like it's the scrap yard for this flatbed. No real interest from anyone who is close enough to take it away. A number of people want the "Ford" script off the back and would pay for the postage to ship it but since I am writing off the cost that I paid for the bed I figure I might as well keep the script so I get something for the investment. Seems a shame but such is life . . .

Hi Doug,
Hope that you don't mind but I lightened up some of your pictures so you can see the frame and script better. Since you live nearby in Milford I'll send this out to out local Ford Truck Club, Klassic Haulers, and see if there is any interest. I hate to see comething like this destroyed.
