Anyone running 19.5's on SRW? Tracking issues
Just put some on my rig to haul my truck camper more safely since I have close to 7500 lbs on my rear axle loaded up.
They obviously are a bit stiffer and I can deal with that. I air the fronts down to 75 PSI and the rears to 95 PSI, adjust my ranchos down unloaded and such.
My problem is them "tracking". It is a bit uneasy at times loaded and unloaded. It's not super bad, will deal with it and the fact I shouldn't blow out or have a wheel fail is worth it.
I have the Vision Heavy Hauler Type 81's and Roadmaster RM253 245X70X19.5 G.
Any experience or input appreciated. I only have about 400 miles on them and hope maybe they get better as they wear in?

I upgraded to vision 81's and Hankook Dh01 265/70/19.5 about a year ago. I am 8k on my rear axle with my camper on, not counting tongue weight of one of the trailers I pull. I had heard that they are a little squirrelly, but I had to have them. They seemed to have gotten a little better over the year I have had them on, but I still notice depending on the road surface. I think they are better loaded than unloaded. I run 84psi all the way around unloaded and put the rears at 95psi when loaded. I probably have only put 2 to 3k on them and love the way they handle with the camper on! Night and day difference!

I don't have any insight to the tracking issue, but you guys have some serious weight on those trucks. I thought I was going to be pushing load weight with a 5th wheel hitch of around 3500. That is nothing compared to you guys...
I hope you find an answer to your question soon. The wheels look great.

Like SOUS said, online, lots of options. I paid just under $1700 for wheels and tires, $100 for good locking lug nuts and $200 mounted and balanced, so about $2k out the door. They are stiff and track a little, but you end up with 9k lbs capacity on your rear axle. Wheels and tires are always the limiting factor on these trucks. Most wheels are not rated high enough for this kind of weight and you do not want a wheel failure or tire blow out going 60MPH with over 4ooolbs in the bed of your truck!
