HEY! Wakeup - it's September

And we've got a pretty good LA - SF pennant race going on. Steve would be loving this.

Finally! The farmer can sleep in while his tractor does all the work.

I thought they already did that. I know the tractors follow lasers, to get straight rows, and more importantly, properly pitched for row irrigation. So I'm not sure what is new there - guess I will have to watch the vid

Some of the tractors in the video don't even have a place for the farmer to sit. 100% remote control. I can only imagine how much extra they cost compared to their manually operated counterparts.

It's all fun and games until one of those things run amok! Then, who (or what) is gonna' stop it from eating the neighbor's soybeans, fences, and sheep?

Aircraft still have pilots, despite being so far technologically advanced from these things that it's an "apples and pineapples" comparison.

Sounds good, but they are still going to need some kind of human supervision.

Supposedly they stop if cornfused in the field and text the farmer. "Hey Dad, can you come get me?"

In other news, I'm a big fan of kerosene for clean up.

Chimney cap plumb rusted thru- tar'd and new cap in place. Easy peasy 'cept for the cleanup.
