You just show up and open the hood, no judging. It's more about food, friends and fun than judging. I have a lot to do before the Lightning is judge ready. I still want to do a caffeine and octane before they end it for the year. http://caffeineandoctane.com/ Next one is on October 2nd.

It's little mans first cruise in, first of many.

The Atlanta international car show is 22- 26 of March 2017.

wel hey guys. I bought a new truck today. 2006 raider, basically a dodge. has 50k miles on it, black, very slick and clean. Dodge has its issues so I will retire it for a tear down and build up here soon

Dang it looks all those events are on a Monday.

A pretty good turn out of vehicles yesterday. We got there early and got a pretty good spot with some shade. This was just the Lightnings, there were about 5 more not in the picture.

I have to pick up my game as the other trucks were super nice.

Sounds like a good time Saturday Chief. I'll be glad when the truck is done to do those things on a weekend instead of working on it.

Got a little more done this past weekend. Cleaned the engine bay, and the 352 looks, and runs great

Removed the hood, found what else, more rust along the front edge, and started a repair. Also got the front of the cowl, and top of the fenders ready to paint

You getting there. I like you windshields.

Stephen
All the Summit cruise in are on Mondays. We had talked about going this past Monday but I forgot about it. Plus II spent the day fixing my paint tent. It had a few failures while we were gone. Yesterday drilled the holes for the clearance lights in the sun visor and camper shell, then prometly filled in 2 holes on each because they did not look right. Thankfully both were fiberglass. Sanded the first coat of primer to 220. Today was prep and shoot another coat of primer. Tomorrow going to sand the camper shell to 220 and shoot another coat of primer on truck and camper.

Hopefully next weekend I have color.

Box on the porch list for October 2 new headlight assy. A/ c condenser, B & W class v hitch and maybe taillights. Parts waiting to be installed front turn signal bus and sockets (mine were stolen while we're were onthe cruise along with 1 battery and my rear licence plate I have Dv plates so I have 2), and speed sensor on transmission

Things left to buy
New grill
Badging
Better brake controller
Bumpers
Body molding
Chrome wheel well arch trim

Future projects

Super duty rear end for disk brakes and 3.73 gear
King ranch seats if I can find s9me
