It is in fairly decent shape except the cab corners are getting thin in places. I have another 53 cab that`s just a bit better that I wished I had used but I don`t feel like swapping it and the master cylinder/brake booster kit that I put in the red cab.

 

I'd like to do another one but don't think I could afford it, I do like working on them. I get kind of sad when I come to the end of the build..

 

If and when I get my 53 and 56 M100 trucks finished I could manage a modest budget for another but I`m not into building anything any more. I`m all out of ambition.

 

When do you plan on finishing them, do you have a date set..

 

You could start an old truck barn and sell off parts Morris.

 

that`s been the problem John, I never set a date for either one and two yrs ago I bought the nice stock 53 M100. Time is moving along and it`s time to get serious, hopefully the 53 will be running late spring and I`d like to driving it by this summer. The 56 depends on my friend`s health, it`s fairly close to paint with a bit more finish body work,
While I still have some left I sold off most of my old Ford/Mercury trucks I collected over the yrs. I find that selling parts is too time consuming, not that many people are working on these around here any more.

 

What ones in the picture do you still have and wanting to get rid of..

 

Only the 56 that`s on the trailer along with the spare cab has been sold, the rest are mostly parts trucks which I`m in no hurry to sell till I get my two projects finished.
