The family and I went to Pacific city, Oregon and had a church bbq and played on the sand.

Idioit you got lucky with that plug. Here is a pic of #8 piston, same cylinder that has all the water marks. Whats even more amazing to me is how much I can move this piston in the bore...

So this core block being junk setback kind of slowed my motivation down but I pushed thru. I ordered the camshaft from R&D Thursday night and I got the turbo pump on the F350 Friday night and started it up this evening. It runs so much better then the worn out pump that was on there...

The tps on the gas engine failed last week on me and the truck lacks power in my opinion. So I replaced the tps (shifting and idle issues) and blocked the egr with a pop can. Part throttle was much better. I wanted to move the intake air temp sensor to the air box but didn't get around to it. All this so I could tow my quads on the sand and play!!!

I haven't installed the IDI yet. I decided to build my shop first.

I have done a few wheeling trips since, snow and mud...

Plan on the diesel after shop is done.

So went to Browns camp on the 25th of march and hit a few trails by lyda camp. Ever since the radiator blew out the BKO would pump white smoke out the tail pipe at idle... So needless to say I watched my temp gauge at all times. Also unbeknownst to me the driver M/M was shot. The fan came up and rubbed the radiator hose, made it back home with duck tape and zip ties... So I started the tear down finally.... Some pics

Trying to get to 7 up from lyda camp

Out with the gasser!!!

Some insulation. More on the hood to come.

The diesel radiator, I have it so I'll use it...

Thank you, The 7.3 IDI is so much dirtier then a cummins!!! So the engine is almost completely together. Question about valve springs, with the stock turbo setup and R&D camshaft can I get away with stock valve springs? Gears are 4:56 with 35" tires

With the cam upgrade, I would upgrade to Comp 910 valve springs. Don't want a valve hitting a piston...
