Ford ESP

Now that we may be getting closer to actually getting the truck, I want to ask everyone's thoughts on an ESP.

Are Sites like Floodfordesp offering Ford ESP or third party? Does the dealer usually match the price?

I have bought my last three from Flood Ford

My local dealer would not match their price

On my previous Ford I tried purchasing an ESP from the likes of Flood Ford, but Florida has some law that prohibits me from buying them online. Has to be from FL dealer and I have yet to find one that has reasonable prices..

I did not buy either.

As much as I pay for my vehicles and as many as I have bought from the dealership that will get me a rental if I want it for free
I went with the $100 deductible. They told me that I could actually take the truck in for 2 problems at the same time and only pay one deductible
So if I happen to have something minor I can always wait until something else happens and get a two-for-the-price-of-one

Prices on Flood ford are effective until 8/31. Do prices fluctuate from month to month?

I'm digging this back up. Thinking about this discussion when my truck arrives...will be tough for my dealer to beat Flood Ford's prices, they are awesome. I bought too much warranty on my '15...anyone ever cash one in prematurely? Are they worth anything? I've got a bunch of time and miles left on this current one.

I am trying to figure out which is cheaper, as far as maintenance for the 6.7. Pay for each service maybe at the most twice a year or by the Maintenance plan. Cant get my dealer to tell me how much the service is.

The Works for a diesel will be $130 (+/-$10), fuel filters were $150 the one time I had the dealer do them (every 21k miles or so)...it's so unbelievably simple I'll do that myself going forward, and save $100. I have the dealer do oil so I can get the meats swapped at the same time. Coolant check is gratis with most dealers (unless there's an issue), that'll pop up around 15k or so. I looked at the Maintainence plan and it looks like more money than just paying for the services, unless I am missing something? Maybe depends on how much one drives? I put on about 25k a year.

Flood Ford is cost + 35.00 so my dealer matched it but was not happy MSRP was 3400.00 and I got it for 2150.00 for 8 years and 100k with 100 deductible

thanks that helped, Ill probably skip the Maintenance plan them on my f150 we only put 5100/yr on it I plane on driving this one more as we will carry my wifes handicap scooter in the back, before we bought the Fusion we hauled it on the back of her Escape but the fusion can't carry it as it is too low to the ground to start with and the extra 300# would make it lower.
