New 2017 Diesel F250 Delivered ...and Taken Away
Exactly 34.1 miles on my new truck. Left the dealership ...couldn't be happier with new 2017 diesel Lariat F250! Get to the office, and go to show coworker, and it would not start. Try again, still no luck. Get over crank alert on driver center on dashboard. Call the dealer and ask if there was anyway that maybe the truck was filled up with gasoline, and they tell me no. I ask again, as the truck will NOT start. They call me back about 15 minutes later ...come to find out the lot tech filled it up with gasoline. Question is, and I think I know the answer ...should I keep this truck, or is there major damage to the engine?

Sorry dude. Man that sucks. Hell i drove all the way back to GA from Indiana and noticed today my hubs were in the lock position instead of auto. Hoping that didn't cause any damage to mine. Also check your front tire pressures if u decide to keep truck. Mine showed from the factory with 80 psi both front and rear. I corrected it today to 60 front 80 rear. Crazy

I would be running fast away from that truck... Reasons already stated. The fuel system is a ticking time bomb.
Driving with locked hubs is not a problem. I do it all the time - especially in the winter. Driving on dry pavement with 4WD on is a problem. But you would figure that out as it would bind and sharp turns wouldn't be easy.

Its also your chance to get a huge discount. Let them make the repairs ask for Z plan pricing. The warranty is 5 year 100,000 miles on engine. I have had several of my work trucks filled up and driven over the years and after the initial repair never any issues related to the past screw ups

I see your point but it would certainly depend on usage. If it was a work truck, fine. Call the shop if it leaves you stranded and someone comes and picks you up. What if it's your RV hauler and you're in the middle of no where with your family if and when it hits the fan? That "what if" would never allow me to vacation in peace.
