Lift question.

Bought my 08 f250 with a Rough Country 6 inch lift with radius arms. I want to drop it down to a 4 inch lift what yould need to be changed? Just the spring and shock set up or would i need a whole kit radius arms and all? Im used to taking trucks and slamming them this going up business is a little different. Any input would be appreciated. I just want to upgrade the lift a little.

This is the lift that is currently on the truck.

I would probably remove the whole kit and start over.

You are most likely going to find that all the drop brackets are going to different part #'s and will all be smaller for the 4" kit. It's not going to be as simple as just getting new front coils. All the angles need to be right. I'd get the install sheets for both kits and see what if anything is shared between them. For example my track bar bracket has 2 holes 1 for a 6in and one for 4 in.

Get a new 4 inch kit and put the complete 8 inch kit on craigslist after you clean it up a little. Some kid will scoop it up quickly. You will recoup a little bit of the money.
