Drum brakes, I'm keeping them.

Went to O'Reiley's to buy a new master cylinder, all they have is reman. Don't want that, is NAPA's stuff any good? Any other ideas? Would like to rebuild what I've got and see how they perform. Will be pulling all the drums for inspection tomorrow to see how things look.

I'm pretty sure most advice is to buy a new manufacture master cylinder. At least one of the usual suspects online sells them afaik. Be sure to bench bleed before installation.

I put a reman on my truck and it's leaking again after 2 years.

Get a new one if you can find one.

There was a post awhile back about a $100.00 power brake conversion. I put power brakes and power steering in my 68 3/4 ton. It is now a pleasure to drive.

Napa has good stuff most of the time. Check out Rock Auto .com, or AutoZone (AKA CarQuest), Just stay away from Made in China parts.
