1966 N600 axle Oil seal

Hey

Usually I research and find this stuff myself but this time I am stumped!!

I put new rear brakes on her and one of the oil seals looked a little suspect, well 20miles later its dribbling oil down the Tyre out of the drum!

I could do with the part numbers for the all the seasl that go kind of wheel end of the axle please I think there is 3 in total.

Body tag reads:

N60CUA44006

163 J N600 F81 A F8L

19500 164 3800 34

any help greatly appreciated!

and here she is!

I think the seal that is shot is the one that is actually in the brake drum/hub.

The old seals with probably have a part number on them. Not necessarily a Ford part number, but if it's National or some other brand, you can usually cross-reference them at Napa or another good parts store that can lookup part numbers directly or in books

Ok shoe diameter 15" and the shoes are 4.5" wide drum contact area is 5".

If you have part numbers that would be great the end axle seal just had C/R stamped on it.

Thank you

I really like your truck. Looks great! Your floor mat looks a lot better than mine, and my shifter boot is toast as well. Does anyone know if the tall hump floor mats for the regular 65-66 f trucks will fit these N series Fords? As for the opening on the shifter it measures 11 3/4 x 7 1/2. I'm looking at having one sewn up in vinyl fabric.

1963/69 N500/1100's use a unique floor mat, it's not the same as any F series truck.

Well that's not the answer I was hoping for. Thanks for letting me know that before I went and bought one.
