Auxiliary reverse lights

Just bought a couple LED pods. I wired them to an upfitter switch. Got everything ready to go, just don't know how and where to install them. I have a few ideas. Just don't know what will look and work best... What have you guys done? Pics?

I am going to mount some on either side of my receiver hitch. This way they will be tucked up and cant get knocked off easily

That has been the stopping point with installing some on mine. Well
that and a clean way to wire them in and not have to do any splicing.

Don't forget you don't want to be drilling any holds in the hitch assembly.
Would not be that hard to take some long bolts and some plates to make a
clamp device to hold them in place without drilling at all.

I use these when I'm plowing to light up the back end. I also bought a 7 pin connector and have them wired into the reverse wire on the 7-pin...

Looks good, that's exactly how I was thinking best way to install, just was curious to see if that was a common way to mount em,

Only problem I can across is the bracket is a bit too small so the top of the lights would be hidden behind the bumper, gonna get a couple 3/4 inch spacer washers and see if I can get em on today

I drilled and tapped into my receiver hitch using stainless steel screw.

I had the same lights as the poster above, but they eventually rusted out from the inside, so I replaced them with these LED's that are awesome. They are tucked up nice and tight so no way they will ever drag through a cross ditch or anything.

I use to have my lights mounted below the receiver hitch until I knocked them off wheeling. so I switched it up a little.

I like the look of that.
What did you use to cut the holes, Plasma or a cutoff wheel?

I made a cardboard template and used a cutoff wheel. make sure you look at the support brackets behind the bumper

Would not be cool to cut that. Did you tie then into the
7 pin or the tail lights?
