dashboard/heater fan help
Hi
For 1973 f100 with aftermarket AC.
I ran into a little problem when pulling driver side front dashboard. Two rotating ***** (lights and wipers *****) were seemigly hard to pull before the dashboard could come off. I left it alone as didnt want to break it.
Any suggestions?
Also, my heater fan is blowing inside the dashboard and it looks like the lever for selecting it is little too loose and has no effect when trting to dial in. Winter is coming soon. It needs to be fixed.
Recommendations?
Nick

The wiper **** has a metal clip that needs to be released. Heres is a good video for the wiper ****. However do not do what he did with the headlight switch. Warning I played this with no sound so I didn't even listen the video was descriptive enough.
This stuff has been discussed many times and you should be able to search this site or even google like I did.

To remove the headlight **** and shaft as one piece (like is should be removed as) using your ninja skills locate the button on the top of the headlight switch and push and hold it, then pull the headlight **** and shaft out.
FYI disconnect your battery 1st, because it will make you headlight come on.
W/S wiper ****, look for a small metal tab on the back side of the ****, push it with a small pick or flat tip screwdriver and it should come right off.
If you just can't seem to locate the headlight switch button, wait till you have the dash bezel ready to come off except for the headlight **** and pull the headlight **** out and that should let the dash bezel rotate tilt out of the way enough to look behind it.
