First time posting here....I'm usually in the super duty forum. I have a 2013 E-250 that is my company van. 58k miles. The seat belt retractor started acting funny and it would not retract or pull out. I was able to put it on but when I got home and felt around the reel part, I can feel what appears to be some sort of spring steel. And as I was feeling around, it seemed to unwind....? I will be fine for now, but is this a replaceable part from Rock Auto, NAPA, etc. or a dealer only? Being that it is a safety issue, would it still be under warranty? Any thoughts? The company will pay for it but as busy as we are, its going to be hard to get scheduled. Thanks

 

3 years old, 58,000 miles I would think the warranty would cover that. I suspect it's a dealer only part.
