Does a body lift need a drop pitman arm? I am installing a 3 inch body lift to my new to me 99 super duty. Thanks for any input.

 

No, none of your steering geometry is changed with a body lift.

No but you will want to make sure that you install the spacer to lengthen the steering shaft. If it do not have a spacer make sure there's enough engagement left in the shaft. It falls apart=no steering.

 

Just do a suspension lift, body lifts are garbage

 

Everyone has an opinion. Body lifts are fine if you are looking for a larger tire without off road performance. I see plenty of street queens running around with the most expensive lift they can buy, dual reservoir shocks, and 22" wheels. Where do you get that body lifts are somehow garbage?
