460 Bracket clearance in 78 4x4

I recently got brackets from a 1977 Lincoln Mark V. I got the harmonic balancer, crank pulley, water pump pulley, ac, alt, and the ps pulley. It's got the a6 compressor from what I can tell. But will everything from the Lincoln bolt into my 460 in my 78 and work? And the clearances be able for my hood to close

Will the power steering pump from the Lincoln work? Or will mine fit the bracket?

1967/77's use a different P/S pump (Ford/Thompson-has a steel reservoir) than 1978 and later (Ford C-II). The P/S pressure hose threads onto the Ford/Thompson pump.

The 1978 and later C-II pump is a different shape and has a plastic reservoir. Its P/S pressure hose connects to the pump w/a qwik connect fitting.

The P/S pump mounting & adjusting brackets will not interchange between the Ford/Thompson & C-II pumps.

If the 460's block casting number is D1VE-6015-AB or A1B or A2B it's internally balanced. If it's D9TE-6015-AB it's externally balanced (has a weighted crank spacer).

Harmonic balancer and flexplate different between internally and externally balanced.

What kind of power steering pump is used on the Lincoln? It looks like a Saginaw but I do not have much experience with them

If the Lincoln has Hydro-Boost, it uses the Saginaw P/S pump.

1967/1977 without Hydro-Boost: Ford/Thompson P/S pump.

1978 without Hydro-Boost: Ford C-II P/S pump.

1978 was the last year that the 460 was available in cars.

So that means I can convert my system to Saginaw. I've seen people convert their 469 swaps to Saginaw cause it was a little better than the stock ps pump

Don't ask "Will it fit?" Put it on and let us know what works and what doesn't. This thread would be more useful that way.

I made a newbie mistake and just took the brackets off rather than remembering and taking pictures of which brackets go where. I've pieced some together and got the alternator brackets figured out. Just need a little bit more help on piecing the others. The pic with The four brackets, I know where the first two go I just am confused on what the other two on the right are.
