+1 Although from an automobile stand point right now is a very hot month. All the back to school traffic is adding to the already traffic-infested roadways here in the bay area. Now the *real* northern California, that's where it gets durn hot. Death Valley and Red Bluff are often on just a few degrees apart. LOL I once worked on a roof near Chico for a Summer job and got a tan through my t-shirt!

Oh, and here is how I'm gonna 'keep it cool' for my truck, moving forward:

I live above the REAL Northern California in Redding. Redding is 25 miles north of Red Bluff and normally a couple of degrees hotter. Chico is just plain cold compared to Redding. We have seen 118 degrees here.
101 today, but a cold snap is coming and should be in the 90's by weeks end.

Yes, and Shasta Lake, Trinity Lake and Sacramento River, also Mount Lassen at
10,463 ft. and Mount Shasta at 14,180 ft.
