It looks to be in really good shape. You'll want to learn about its wheels. They are 17" Budd #68600s having the Firestone RH-5° outer rims. Called widow makers. Might not find anybody willing to work on them. There is a discussion going now on the 61-66 forum about solutions. Stu

Canadian production I think would be be far less. Possibly (I assume it's an Oakville truck given the Sask plate on it) making your unit even more scarce. Not sure if Mercury offered them, if they did that would be a really rare beast I would imagine.

there is people that deal with these rims,i have fixed a lot of flats with split rim/ring type/and 3 piece rim, theres safety straps, chains and stuff they use so one don't get hurt,a lot of accidents happen do to workers error,i myself would find other rims if your planning on keeping it,and driving it,but keep the old rims ,so if you sell it, ,new buyer might want them,

The service industry and insurance industry have largely rendered the Firestone RH-5° a pariah. This is because they can come apart without warning. Agree the service tech is at greatest risk during installation and mounting, but they also come apart while in service. A couple years ago I sold a set of tubeless 19.5s to a member that had one come apart while he was winching his new F-4 onto the trailer.
As discussed in the other thread I linked, the centers can be pulled and remounted into new drop center rims. The other solution is to find a set of Budd #70740 tubeless 19.5s. Rare in the extreme, and expensive from dealers. Stu
