01' f150 nothing works!

I have an 01' f150 that everything is going out on. I've replaced the GEM module thinking that's what it was to no avail. First thing to go was all four windows which have currently been stuck halfway down for 2 weeks. It's stalling out during idle like it isn't getting enough fuel to it. Brake and engine light on dash are staying on. Radio, interior lights won't come on. Will not come out of park once in. I have to do the old forward, back, middle key trick to get it out of park into neutral so I can start it and go. I've also checked all fuses and relays under dash and under Hood. Anyone know what's going on with this thing? I'm out of options other than straight to Ford which is going to cost my first born child. Any suggestions appreciated.

Since the engine light is on you need to get the codes read. Code readers are fairly cheap now. There are main power error codes. If you get some of them I would suspect a wiring problem near the starter solenoid/relay where they get the main power for the whole truck. Or a main ground problem. Make sure the battery is good also.

Restore (or verify) proper power and grounds FIRST if they are suspected since they can cause numerous extraneous symptoms including fault codes. Failure to do so can leave you wandering around in circles out in the weeds.

Start with pulling the cabin kick panels and inspecting the grounding studs on both sides starting on the driver's side.

absolutely!! Two of the kick panel grounds are level with the carpet, so corrosion here is nearly guaranteed. And these just so happen to be part of the GEM and power window circuits.
