Wheels for my 56 with Crown vic front end

I found some wheels that at 18x7 with 0 offset and 4" backspacing. I took measures for my rear with the explorer differential and they will fit the back. The fronts I'm not too sure on. I don't want to push the wheels out too far on an already wide front end. The crown vic wheels fit the front pretty well with the fenders. But I know they have a high offset.

Thanks in advance

Do you have photos of your cv front end at the frame rail? I'm thinking about removing my lower block so the frame sits lower and then flattening the frame rail. Then ill put a block on top for take up the spacing.

I was figuring I would need a pretty decent sized offset for the front. 35-50mm offset is like 1.5-2" so I don't think the rims I'm looking at will work.

I may have to toss a fender on there to see where it is at.

I would think your going to need a large backspace and off set rim as the crown vic is very wide

It looks as though you wheels are just outside the wheel wells so if he wants them inside he will need more backspace or the same with a 7" rim

The side shot is a little deceiving.

Here is a front shot.

Ya that looks better your still going to have to maintain a reasonable ride height for turning . But for old blue ( if my math is correct ) he would only be 1/4" farther out than yours so again depending on tire size and ride height the rims may work for him .
