Welcome to FTE! You know how to get our attention, showing us pics of your project right away, but also a picture of your Ford tractors.

Those were the two tractors we had on our farm. Dad bought a 48 8N new and then for more power traded in the 8N for a 53 Golden Jubilee sometime in the 60's. It had been repainted blue however. A week later he went back to the dealer and bought back his old 8N cause he missed it so much. It was a good little tractor!

That's is a 48 8n there. As good as it was then 54 NAA was a way better tractor with the overhead valve engine. I sold both of them however last fall. About a week later my wife said she would not feel sorry for my when I had to shovel snow by hand. And there was a storm coming. So I found a Ford 641 about 250 miles away that I bought. Basically tge same as a NAA with a little more horsepower and updated rear axle/ hubs and seals. Haven't gotten to restoring it yet. It's kind of nice having a tractor around and not having to worry about scratching it. I have an Allis Chalmers Model C to do after the pickup, then onto the 641.
