Emblems

When I remove the F-150 emblems off the side of my truck will it be all messed up under there? I no when I was working on an old GMC truck the emblems were held on with bolts and we had to patch it up and stuff. Is it a fairly simple project? B/c this is my new truck not an old GMC. Any help would be great.

The side emblams are secured by a glue if I am correct. Use something like a blow dryer to heat it and then maybe fishing line to get behind it and cut through it. Once that is done use WD40 or 3M Tar and Wax remover for clean up followed by polish and wax. You should be ok then.
