6.4L Power Stroke Diesel Engine fitted to 2008 - 2010 F250, F350 and F450 pickup trucks and F350 + Cab Chassis

Replacing a 6.4 with a 7.3 can it be done and will it bolt up and fire with the existing harness?

Replacing a 6.4 with a 7.3 can it be done and will it bolt up and fire with the existing harness?
Just wondering if you could marry a 7.3 to the 6.4's guts and driveline?

Never saw a thread on this, but I'm interested incase I'm givin the lethal injection.

I'm sure there is a way, but I'm not sure why you'd want to.

If you have enough time and money you can marry ANYTHING together.

This will take a very long time and cost much more than a brand new 2017 F-550 to do. NOTHING will fit, and nothing electronic will work. You'll have to fabricate and invent everything.
