I've never seen one, did they come with it? If so no wonder it looks like it belongs there, "Duh" PS thanks for taking the time to educate me. You could have just let it slide, but then I still would be in the dark.

The Mercury pickup is a Canada only product. They did not make them in the USA, all trucks in Canada Ford and Mercury came with the V8 there was not a 6 cylinder option.

Yes, the Merc's had fancier trim and a chrome grille.

They were only made in Canada. The uptown version of the farm workhorse.
I like the park light placement on the Merc far better than on my 49 Ford.
