If the stock C4 neutral safety switch located on the c4 see pic of it below .(which also provides for back up lights) does not fit with your Lokar linkage, and the unit that Lokar makes for the GM trannies cant be altered for use on the C4 . You could use a toggle switch on the dash, that is what I did until I found that my B/M shifter had a built in micro switch that I ended up using. This was just my experience, hopefully someone else has a better idea and will chime in. Best of luck.

What's the C4 from? If it's from a car, 1973/77 Bronco, 1969/81 Econoline, 1978/81 F100/250, the NSS is on the transmission.

But if it's from a 1965/77 F100/350, the NSS is located on the bottom of the steering column. 1965/66 uses a different NSS than 1967/77.

If you are using a GM column just use the GM neutral/backup light switch mounted on the bottom of the column...

I used this on my C4 too. Also get back-up lights with this switch

It doesn't sound like he's using the GM column shifter (I'm guessing he has the Lokar floor shifter), just a GM Column.

Perhaps not. I used a column shifter with my FMX so didn't have the same problem. You may have to fabricate something.

Just do as Jimmy did and use a toggle switch. You can hide it under the dash if you like. It is not like you need them on all the time, during the daytime you won't need them unless you got some dummy who can't figure out your backing up. You also get the added advantage of being able to turn them on for hooking up trailers, doing something behind the truck, etc.. Don't over engineer a simple solution.
