After I sell a couple of my junker antiques I'm going to try and find a nice Splash to play with to go along with my Dodge Dakota R/T. I was wondering from 1993 to 1999 how many Splashes were produced? Any production numbers online anywhere? My Dakota is 1 of 501 for year 1999. I would like a Canary Yellow Splash. Preferably a 4.0 auto. How many Rangers actually came with the performance limited slip rear axle? I don't think I've ever seen one. I sure don't see many Splashes on the road anymore. I definitely don't see many in Canary Yellow. There's one in my area but the owner will not sell and it's a 3.0. I think it was the best looking Ranger ever produced.

 

I am going to throw out a number here based on the tooling to produce the SMC box for Splash at around 40,000 per year.

 

Idk how many they built. But I have my 93 splash sitting around still. Needs some frame repair though.
