New to the group looking for ideas

So I've got a 78 f150 302 I Put on a edelbrock intake and four barrel carb (1403) at first I thought I had bad gas but now I'm thinking maybe vacuum leak causing this,timing I'm shooting in the dark here as I put on headers this summer can't seem to get it working right when I floor it it spits and spudders its defently over feeling but no gas in oil just changed last night

Get a can of spray carb cleaner and spray all over the intake while it's running, if you have a leak, you've hear the engine change pitch when the cleaner gets sucked into the leak. Did you reset the ignition timing when you put it back together ? What did you set the initial timing at ? Did you adjust the carb when you bolted it down ? (after setting the timing ?)

Gave the carb a rebuild kit

so I did the rebuild kit to my carb and there's still the same issue I will be trying the carb cleaner spray and see where and what happens it's gotta be a vacuum leak timings good all plugs disturbutor n buttom changed ignition coil and ECU next after I spray is every vacuum line and brake booster show and shine this coming weekend and needing this fixed thanks guys
