Spent all day yesterday cutting grass, after not being able to for about a month.... Only to find out we have a lot more rain on the way.

Im so ready for fall/winter.

 

I got roped into carpet, rug & floor cleaning due to a flea being found. Then groceries. Then mowing till dark cause Saturday got rain shortened & what's there still ain't knocked down.

Spent most of last week working on this hybrid 5.0 upper on 5.8 lower. Outside didn't have to be done, but it just begged for some sort of visual improvement. Its at the machine shop getting bead blasted:

That intake looks great! A little hand polishing and some clear coat, that thing will be second to none!

 

Yeah, the hours spent on getting it that far exceed any great value. (WAY too many so far) It'd have TOO many flaws (some really deep gouges) that would just pop out in real life.

Its just going to get some cast aluminum VHT hightemp to make it even & easy more or less to keep clean without powdering up.

Are you upgrading to bosh 4 hole injectors?

The stock injectors are high impedance right?

 

No. The injectors are already 4 hole Bosch. Yellow-orange 19 pounders. I have collected all the assorted stuff to change over to Mass Air & the plan was to do it long before building the engine. Just didn't work out that way. So it will get up & running on the stock speed density for the time being.
