Steering rack
I'm hoping someone here has an idea. I have the crown Vic front end on the 56 I'm building. And I'm attempting to put in a roush mustang motor out of an06 mustang. The crossmember is a little to high and so is the steering rack. I was gonna slit the crossmember but the steering rack will still be in the way. Any ideas? Please anything will help

Pics would help can you use a different oil pan ? I had a similar problem I made my engine & trans mounts using a 302 and the AOD that is going in the truck and left almost no room above the rack with intentions of modifying the oil pan a slight bit but didn't realize that the 302 pan does not fit on my stroked 351 proper pan is 2 " higher . I managed to lower my rack about 3/4" modified the pan about 3/4" and will raise the motor mounts the rest
