Morning all.

Not sure what's on the agenda for today, but I need to get the garage cleaned up. My collection of tools has been growing little by little and now it's reached a point that I really need to find another tool box/chest.

 

Isn't that great!! Lol I love tool getting a new chest..not that I buy snap on tool chests or anything, but I'm pretty happy with my harbor freight suckers

Just for your info, Lowe's has a big sucker for just under $700 and it's both top and bottom chests

 

Harbor Freight is fine with me, the $400 + isn't. LOL

 

Well who takes off from the house for Topeka KS and 9PM (last night) for cheap Bronco stuff....I do and drag the son inlaw with me, we got back home around 4 AM.

Up in time for b fast and RC to roll in the driveway...ha what happened to your trailer? lol

RC again it was a great time setting in the shade with the shop fan keeping up cool.

 

Rich, are you going to put that body on the hillbilly bug?

Rich. RC told me that he put you up to that phone call, he really got a good laugh when he got here lol!!

We didn't get any work done, but he gave me some good ideas and more logical advice than I usually come up with by myself lol

 

well i made it home. sure was fun today having a mini GTG with rich, jeff and alan and myself.. had a great time sitting in the shade with the hillbilly A/C unit blowing, an' sipping on cool water, or standing around in the heat talking and looking at ford trucks.. but not all at the same time.. ha ha ha ha .. i guess i will have to roll again tomorrow to finish the things i didnt get done today.. my poor old wore out and feeble body and brain just could not seem to get anything done today

 

Evening All!

The body on HR is DONE! We got the "rollbar" and light bar mounted in the bed all the chrome is on except for one piece behind the passenger side fender flair. I'll put that on when I can open the door far enough to get my hand in behind the fender.

Tomorrow starts the mechanical work. I only have one week left to work on it. Then it has to go and get the last details finished up. I hope to have it running and sitting on 48" tires by the end of the week.

RC, I'll be home tomorrow about 5 if you want my help.

 

Complete body no...hang some fenders on the front and maybe some rear qtrs, maybe. The front fender lines up pretty nice on the existing frame. Maybe a better hanging pic tomorrow.

 

a jigsaw puzzle.. i hope the body dont fall off when you hit a big bump..

 

I am thinking heavy duty dzus fasteners, it at all.
